Offering a delightful Antique KATE GREENAWAY engraved print housed in an ornamental, brass, gold daguerreotype mat within a RARE sealed Thermoplastic black picture hanging wall FRAME. Frame circa 1850-70. Kate Greenaway 'My two little sisters dressed in green'. Showing smoked dresses. From Mother Goose or the Old Nursery Rhymes. Routledge and sons 1881.

The 3 dimensional gold mat is heavily embellished. The rare floral/scroll thermoplastic frame is in excellent condition with one tiny chip. Still retains the original hanger. I believe this is considered a sixth plate size. Frame measures 4.25" wide x 4.75" high. Image area with mat is 3" x 3.25".

Lovely and rare addition for a large scaled dollhouse, room box or doll vignette.
