These lovely tap pants were custom made in 1939 in New York City for a bride as part of her trousseau for her January, 1940 wedding at the Waldorf. They're all ecru silk with attached alencon lace at the lower front legs. Button side closure and gusseted crotch.
These tap pants were well taken care of and well stored for the last 75 years and are in overall excellent condition. They have beautiful French seams and you can see the custom detail when you look at the construction. There may be some faint age spots on the silk but they are very minor and virtually unnoticeable.
Measurements were taken with the pants lying flat.
Overall length: 15"
