Beautiful antique sterling silver bonbon or nut spoon c.1900. This serving piece was made by the Roger Williams Silver Co. of Newport, Rhode Island. It has a wonderful scalloped rim bowl with pierced scroll interior, and the handle has chased baroque or rococo scrolls. It is monogrammed as shown, possibly JEV but the elaborate letters are a bit difficult to decipher. The bowl of the spoon measures 2 1/8" x 2" and overall length is 4 1/2". Signed on the reverse as shown with the RW&C0 Sterling marks. Excellent antique condition.
