Fabulous large antique perfume bottle, most likely dating between 1890-1920. Clad all around with reticulated sterling silver with beaded edge and having a large stopper also clad in a beaded edge sterling stopper, this wonderful perfume bottle is in beautiful condition, no chips or cracks or damage. The glass stopper and insert have matching acid etched numbers, and we believe the glass to be Baccarat or St. Louis. The sterling appears to be American, and although it is marked Sterling 298, we do not see a maker indicated. The glass was likely imported from France by an American silver company and finished in the US. The bottle stands 6" tall to the top of the large stopper and is 2 1/2" in diameter. The stopper is monogrammed, possibly MLL, but these these antique scripts are difficult to read.
The bottle weighs 1 1/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail.
