A late 18th or early 19th century footed salt dip in pierced or reticulated silver with a French blue glass insert. Pretty beaded cartouche design on the 3 feet. The glass insert has a satin finish on the exterior and polished interior. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver-plate has some wear commensurate with age as can be seen in the photos. The silver is marked as shown with an old mark which we believe is a German mark. 2 3/4" top diameter and 1 7/8" high.
