The best of the best - four outstanding caviar servers crafted of mother-of pearl shell and originally sold by the internationally known retailer G Lorenzi of Milan. If you're unfamiliar with G Lorenzi, this shop, which closed in 2014, was a mecca for the well heeled who required only the finest in men's accessories, barware, and select home decor. It is rare to find one, let alone a set of 4, on the secondary market.

The best caviar plates or servers are made from mother-of-pearl. This natural material stays cool and does not alter the delicate flavor of the precious eggs.

The four sizes are as follows. Please note that sizes are approximate due to the natural form. All four are in excellent condition though one of the smaller ones does have a surface edge chip which can be seen in the photos; it does not interfere with the use of the shell.

Largest: 8 1/2" x 11". It retains a partial G Lorenzi label on the bottom as pictured.

Next largest: 6 3/4" x 7". This one does not have a label but guaranteed to be G Lorenzi and is a match to the other plates.

Small: 4 1/4" x 4 1/2". Retains its original G Lorenzi Milano label as pictured.

Small" 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". It retains a partial G Lorenzi label as pictured. This one has a smooth edge flake as pictured.
