Two beautiful faience cups and saucers with floral pattern on one side and a scenic view on the other! Both saucers have hand painted flowers on them and a bright pink trim, though they're not identical. The cups have similar multi-color flowers on one side, and different scenes on the other. One cup has men on horseback in a field, while the other has a water scene of a man rowing a boat. The saucers are 6" in diameter, and the large cups are 2 1/2" high with a top diameter of 4 1/8". There are no cracks or hairlines, but there are specks of paint loss/fleabites to the cup rims and a couple on the saucers. All 4 pieces are marked with what appears to be the Veuve Perrin conjoined VP mark in red with France in black beneath. We're unable to determine whether these are early 18th century marks or later production. Either way, they're quite lovely and the juxtaposition of florals and scenics are most intriguing.
