A fabulous early English majolica bowl by B & D Woodbound. Pink/Lavender interior with wood grain and picket or fishscale pattern surrounded by a black buckled belt and yellow and turquoise leaves. It's in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Marked on the bottom as shown. If I'm reading the British Registry mark correctly, it shows a pattern registration date of January 8, 1860. Measures 5 3/4" top diameter and is 3 1/8" high.
