We're in love with this wonderful antique jug or pitcher, and you'll love adding it to your blue and white chinoiserie collection. It was made in the mid 1800s by J Thomson & Sons of the Annfield Pottery in Glasgow, Scotland. The pattern is called Shanghai, and it depicts two Chinese figures with musical instruments on both sides of the tankard, a reeded handle, and egg and dart and twining leaves top and handle decoration. This is a large piece, standing 8 1/8" tall.

The jug is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom with the J T & Sons wreath mark as shown, used between 1826-1887.

The jug weighs 2 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail.
