Rarely do we find a nearly 100 year old Roseville Pottery jardiniere in excellent, unused condition, but this very large one is just that. Roseville Pottery introduced the Florentine line in 1925. With its cartouches of Renaissance style design in relief and interspersed with swags of laurel leaves, the pattern evokes the architectural elements of Florence, Italy. In the 1930s, Roseville introduced Florentine II using the same molds but changing the background color from brown to cream.
This very large flower pot is 11" in diameter at its widest, 8 1/4" tall, and has a top diameter of 9 3/4". It is unmarked but well documented as Roseville Florentine. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or stains.
This pot weighs a hefty 6 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
