Dated 1906, a charming Royal Doulton large syrup pitcher or jug. This is a 6 sided jug with a lower pattern of pale blue flowers and an upper pattern of green, white, and orange flowers against a dark green background. The handle and top rim are trimmed in gold. The jug has a removable folding tin or pewter lid making it easy to use with or without the lid and making it easy to clean. 6" tall. There are no chips or cracks, just fine crazing appropriate to age and some use loss to the gold trim on the grip of the handle. The jug is marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton logo and the British Registry number indicating a registration date of 1906 - see photo. A nice, original piece to add to (or start) a collection.
