A nice large set of vintage Cottage Ware! All pieces are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, though all have crazing and the covered butter dish also has staining, mostly to the bottom. The large tea pot, the covered butter, the covered jam or marmalade, and the tall covered cream pitcher were all made and marked by Keele St. Potteries as shown, England, while the smaller teapot and creamer were made by J B Betson Japan and bear an old wreath mark from the same period. The main difference between the two manufacturers appears to be brown windows outline on the Keele St. Potteries pieces' windows while the Betson pieces have black window outlines. Keele St pieces are more finely modeled, but altogether the set looks great. 11 pieces total.
