c. 1930 fabulous vase with "ear" handles by Brush-McCoy in their Art Vellum glaze. Though the glaze looks lumpy and bumpy, it's actually smooth to the touch, reminiscent of the vellum parchment it was designed to imitate. It stands 4 7/8" tall and measures 6" ear to ear with a slightly large bottom. Though unmarked, this vase is well documented as Brush-McCoy. The wonderful deep jade color and brown/gray accents looks just as earthy and modern today as it did almost 85 years ago. A very nice example of Arts and Crafts American pottery.
The vase weighs just over 2 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail, insurance included.
