A huge and heavy 14" tall double handle vase made during the 1930s and 1940s by McCoy Pottery. This vase is in matte white and is commonly called a "sand dollar" vase due to the pattern, and we love its rustic deco design. Its height and girth as well as its strong presence make it perfect for tall flowers or to stand beside a fireplace or in a niche. As with many early McCoy pieces, this vase is unmarked but well documented as McCoy. There are no chips or cracks on this pieces, though there are anomalies such as glaze pops and stray marks common to McCoy pottery. There is a small area on the bottom edge that may be an old repair--it's virtually unnoticeable and difficult to tell whether it's a repair or just another anomaly, but we've shown a picture of it and taken it into account in our pricing in case it is a repair.
This vase weighs 9 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
