A beautiful antique Art Nouveau oval mirror, photo, or picture frame decorated with putti / cherubs and a variety of flora. This frame is iron with gold wash and has an easel type stand on the reverse. It was made by the National Brass and Iron Works company of Pennsylvania, in business from 1891-1911 and is marked on the reverse with NBIW and item number 2000 as pictured. The frame measures 10 1/2" wide foot-to-foot and is 10 3/4" tall. The interior (photo or mirror area) measures 7 1/4" x 5 1/4". A heavy piece, weighing just under 2 lbs. Condition is very good with age appropriate wear, nothing major. Two of the prongs for holding a photo or mirror are missing, the one at the top remaining and pictured. The prongs are easily replaced or a photo or mirror could be taped or glued in place. This is a beautiful old frame, ready to display on table or vanity.
