Elegant and in pristine condition, a pair of vintage adjustable double arm Serpentine Candelabra, forged in America by Baldwin Brass of Reading, PA. These beautiful candleholders are so versatile, with serpent detail on the arms that can be adjusted up or down, opened wide or folded in close. This makes them ideal for placement on a dining room table, sideboard, piano, mantle or other location according to your decorating taste. Best of all, they have Baldwin's outstanding polished and lacquered finish that requires no polishing.
Almost identical to Virginia Metalcrafters CW-16 candelabra made for the Colonial Williamsburg foundation.
Height and width are adjustable by moving the brass center up or down the center pole and moving the arms to their desired degree of openness. Each candelabrum stands 15 1/2" tall to the open brass finial atop the steel center shaft, with a base diameter of 5 7/8". In the "closed" position, width is 8 3/4" including the bobeches. In the widest open position, the width is 17 3/8". The arms are detachable.
