Stunning pair of vintage Italian lamps with ribbed controlled bubble Murano glass fonts. These lamps have stepped wood classical plinth bases in a gold or gilded Florentine finish, large blue glass fonts with a beautiful ribbed or melon shape with control bubbles, and above a fluted wooden neck with egg and dart tops. Also included are fantastic wood artichoke finials. The harps are removable and can be replaced with shorter ones should you wish to change the lamp height. We've had the lamps professionally re-wired with new gold cords and new plugs. Both lamps are marked "Made in Italy" on the bottom. We're unable to confirm the maker, though Barovier and Toso used the same base on some of their lamps, and the font style was done by Barbini and Seguso as well as Barovier and Toso. We believe these date to the 1950s - 1960s. They're just beautiful.
Overall height with current harps is 35" to the top of the finials.
The base is 5" square.
Height to top of bulb socket is 24".
The blue font is approximately 6" - 6 1/2" in diameter.
The pair weigh 11 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance and signature delivery included.
