EAPG Gillinder Glass Lion Covered Butter Dish c. 1877
Very nice antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG)covered butter dish in the Lion pattern, made by the Gillinder & Sons, Philadelphia, c. 1877. This butter compote stands 7 1/4" tall and the bottom's top diameter is 5 7/8". There is some light scratching to the interior of the bottom commensurate with age and use, no chips or cracks. This is a great display piece but can also be used as a candy or sauce dish--or whatever your creative side wishes.
The compote weighs 1 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via US Priority Mail.
