Stunning Moser glass vase c.1900. Standing an impressive 17 5/8" tall with a top diameter of 3 3/4" and a base diameter of 5 5/8", this vase is done in pale purple or lavender color glass shading to clear. The lavender color is just lovely and probably pre-dates Moser's later Alexandrit color. The base has gilt enamel flowers and leaves cascading down the front and back and a wide band of gilding near the top. The glass is a slightly swirled rib optic. The base is quite thick and uneven as can be see in the photos. No chips or cracks, some wear to the gilding. Signed in gold "Moser Karlsbad" on the bottom as pictured--larger photo makes the signature look black, but it's gold as shown in the close-up. This is a lovely piece of Czech / Bohemian art glass, prettier in person than our photos show.
The vase weighs 3 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
