A very hard to find piece in the Colony pattern by Fostoria! This gorgeous vase is 13 3/8" tall (considered to be the 14" size, as production sizes were "rounded up" for cataloging)and was produced in very limited quantities in the late 1930's to early 1940's. It is a spectacular piece of glass, and it weighs a massive 5 3/4 lbs!(Curious children and kitties will not be able to tip this one over!) The swirl pattern, flared rim, and fluted foot make this piece a showstopper, and it will look just as good as a display piece as it will with an arrangement of your favorite flowers. It's in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. We do note a slight mold mark in one area along with a bit of ash trapped in nearby grooves--this is pictured in a close-up photo but is not readily visible on display and is a part of the manufacture process. Whether you're looking for an addition to your Colony service or simply need a magnificent vase, this piece will be a wonderful addition.
Again, this vase weighs 5 3/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
