A beautiful art glass vase c. 1880-1900. It has a ruffled and folded pink cased glass rim over a translucent ivory body and is hand painted with tiny blue and yellow/orange flowers and a large butterfly front and center. The white portion fluoresces green when exposed to UV light, attesting to its age. The vase is 5" tall and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is a bit of ash in the pontil and a few specks on the neck near the rim, commensurate with glass making techniques of the late 19th century. A lovely piece for the art glass collector.
