Beautiful Early American Pattern or Pressed Glass (EAPG) pitcher in the "Ivy in Snow" pattern. Ivy in Snow, also known as Forest Ware, was manufactured in 1898 by the Co-Operative Flint Glass Company of Beaver Falls, PA. This pitcher stands 9 1/2" tall and has a wonderful elongated helmet shape. It holds approximately 1 qt. It weighs 2 3/4 lbs. It's in very good condition with no chips or cracks; there are a few light scratches from over a century of use and one deeper 1/4" scratch under the handle (not a crack!). This is a beautiful old piece, and of course when exposed to UV light is glows a dusky yellow.
