A beautiful antique muffineer or sugar shaker done in Bavaria, probably for one of the Limoges porcelain companies c. 1900. It stands just under 5" tall and is approximately 3" in diameter. Varying hues of green make up the background colors, and the foreground shows a spray of yellow flower blossoms with long stems done in greens and a bit of brown. The gold or gilt top has a profusion of holes. The shaker is in excellent condition with one speck of gold missing from the top (about 10 o'clock in our photo of the top), and there are some grazes on the base rim as shown. It's marked simply "Bavaria" on the bottom as pictured. The cork--in fact there are 2 corks--is inside the shaker.
