Stunning yellow Czech Bohemian art glass vase done in a wonderful shade of yellow semi-opaque glass shading from bright and sunny to a rich custard color. The art nouveau shape is decorated all around the center with a large silver deposit parrot perched on a leafy branch, and the leaves continue around the entire perimeter. It stands 8 1/4" tall. There are no chips or cracks to this piece, minimal loss to the silver. The vase bears a partial sticker regarding the silver deposit, which was done by the E J Bass Company of New York, which was in business from the late 19th to the early 20th century. It was common for Czech Bohemian glass to be imported and then decorated with silver in the US, and many examples of this exist.
