Elegant turn of the century antique glass pitcher with gold encrusted decoration by the Honesdale decorating department, a division of the C. Dorflinger Glass Co, in the "Regeletto" pattern. Some people refer to this tall style as a Champagne pitcher since the tapering holds champagne bubbles in much the same way as a flute glass, but we believe this could be used for any number of beverages, from martinis to water. The glass is of water white clarity and there is a ground and polished pontil. The gilt art nouveau decoration is lovely, though there is some loss around the perimeter as can be seen in the photos. There are no chips or cracks or heat checks to the handle. The pitcher stands 10 5/8" tall, has a top diameter of 2 3/4" and a bottom diameter of 4 1/4". It holds over 5 cups (1 1/4 quarts). A real American beauty!
The pitcher weighs 2 1/4 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
