A lovely set of 6 Worcester porcelain plates c. 1886. These are a coupe shape and measure 9 1/8" in diameter. Each has a brown rim with gold banding on either side, and the center is hand painted with a branch of various blossoms and a large butterfly. Each plate's flowers and butterfly is different. No chips or cracks to any, just some very faint yellowing to a few of the plates. They're marked on the reverse with the Worcester crown mark within a triangle that indicates that were retailed by Caldwell's of Philadelphia.
The set weighs 6 lbs before packing, and shipping will be via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
