A fine antique parian porcelain vase, probably Bennington, c.1850-60. The vase stands 8 5/8" tall and has a scalloped rim, fluted neck, and raised flowers on a stippled background. The sides are decorated with applied grapes and leaves. Overall the vase is in excellent condition with a bit of loss to the small curlicues, a couple of leaf edges are missing, and there appears to be a burst bubble or kiln flaw to the inside tip of one scallop on the rim as pictured. A beautiful piece.
