Very nice pair of Jackfield pottery pitchers c.1900 hand painted in the aesthetic style with overpainted gun metal green panels outlined in gold and having a center fern leaf flanked by stems with enameled pink and white prunus blossoms. The taller pitcher stands 8 1/8" high; the shorter is 7 3/8" tall. Jackfield pieces are known for their brilliant black glazes and originated in the Jackfield area of Staffordshire, England. It is unusual to find a pair. Condition is excellent with minimal rubbing to the gilding on the rim, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Shipping via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, insurance included.
