A fine early 19th century Canton blue willow bowl from Mason's, England. The bowl features a pagoda pattern and water views around the exterior; th interior rim is done in a lattice pattern with a piece of fruit (we think) in the center bottom. Measuring 3 1/4" high and having a top diameter of 6 1/2", the bowl is free of chips, cracks, and crazing, though there are the usual anomalies of 2 glaze pops on the interior and wear to the glaze appropriate to its 200 years. The bowl is marked on the bottom with the blue crown and banner Mason's Patent Ironstone China used c. 1815. A wonder piece of Canton.
