Late 1800's factory decorated antique Limoges porcelain condiment or jam jar with separate underplate. This piece is just lovely--the white porcelain is beautifully hand painted with branches of pink roses and green leaves, a bevy of little bees with wings a-flutter hovering near the blossoms. All this is marvelously accented with gold trim. The jar is 4 3/4" tall to the top of the lid finial, and the underplate is 5 5/8" in diameter. All 3 pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or crazing. The underside of the plate is marked with the D & Co (Delinieres) white wear mark in green and the entwined RC (Redon & Cie) decorating mark in red. The jar is marked only with the Redon initials.
