If you are a Limoges lover, it doesn't get much prettier than this: an exquisitely hand painted mug impeccably decorated with pink, crimson, and yellow roses, green leaves--entirely encircling the mug. The handle form is a gilded rose stem. The cup's rim is daubed and gilded. The calibre of the painting on this small jewel is outstanding, and we believe this is a factory decorated piece. The Pouyat mark on the bottom dates this piece between 1890 and the early 1900's. It stands 3 1/2" tall and has a mouth diameter of 3". It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A small treasure!
