A beautiful scalloped and embossed gilt trimmed George Borgfeldt Coronet Limoges charger plate, c.1906-1920. Rich yellows shading from butter to butterscotch form the backdrop for an array of large pink, white, and yellow flowers that we believe are poppies. This wonderful example of Limoges porcelain measures 10 3/8" in diameter and is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or damage. It is signed on the front "Dupont" and bears the early green Coronet mark on the reverse. There are 4 holes in the footrim to facilitate hanging.
