Add to your flow blue Staffordshire collection with this wonderful c.1850 large low bowl in the Penang pattern by W. Ridgway. This bowl measures 10 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Perfect for a wall plate or use as a centerpiece or serving bowl. The Penang pattern shows the influence of British colonialism and Chinese export porcelain on English goods made from the 1790s to the mid 1800s. The pattern is a blue willow pattern with chrysanthemum and prunus tree border - lovely! If you love blue and white decor, chinoiserie, and/or Staffordshire pottery, you'll love this piece.
