A charming vintage Wedgwood blue jasper ware round trinket box with lid. The domed lid features a center classical scene in relief while the perimeter is encircled with oak leaves. The sides of the box are fluted. The piece has a top diameter of 3 5/8" and stands 2" high. It's in excellent vintage condition with no damage, and it's fully hallmarked on the bottom as shown in the last photo (please excuse the camera shadow).
Josiah Wedgwood introduced this beautiful blue sprigged jasper ware in the 1770s, anti remains one of Wedgwood's iconic wares, renowned for its beauty and durability.
