How beautiful! A stunning (and hard to find) set of 8 dinner size cabinet plates measuring 9 1/8" in diameter. These antique Limoges plates were made by Tressemann & Vogt between 1892 - 1907. No two are alike: each is hand painted on a butter yellow background with fruits or flowers--you can see raspberries, grapes, poppies, dogwood blossoms, wild roses, blackberries, and cherries along with branches and leaves. Each plate also has a bee or a dragonfly, and again, no two are alike. Our photos simply don't do this set justice. the set is in overall excellent antique condition, with a few plates having some wear to the thin gilt edge, and one plate having a a small lentil size flake on the back. All 8 are marked with the T & V France mark as shown.
