EARLY PINK LUSTRE PLATE
Staffordshire England ~ c. 1840
This delightful 7 1/4" plate has a crisp image transfer printed in a rich plum color. The plate features a border of flowers and foliage hand painted in a brilliant pink luster. The central transfer is of a woman primping in front of a mirror whilst two others attend to a fallen chair. The kitchen fire burns bright.
