EARLY CHILD'S TRANSFERWARE PLATE

Cornfoot, Colville & Co. (North Shields pottery 1828-1832)

Staffordshire, England ~ c. 1830

This is an early child's transferware plate made of a soft paste earthenware. The plate measures a generous 8 1/8 ” in diameter. It is crisply transfer printed in red with four color enamel painting to the border moulded flowers.
Great game subject matter.

Never Used. The plate is in great condition.
