EARLY CHILDS ALPHABET ABC PLATE

This small 5 3/8 " alphabet plate has a crisp image transfer printed in luscious jet black with great four color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of red, golden yellow, green and cobalt blue. A band of red surrounds the impressed Alphabet and clover leaf border.
The central transfer is perfectly applied showing all the fine detail and is hand painted in vivid colors. The crisp very early transfer is of a Franklin's Maxims with a scene of farmers ploughing with their horses .
