EARLY FRANKLIN'S MAXIMS PLATE

This 7 inch plate has a crisp image transfer printed in rich brown. The plate feature an press moulded border or Roses and Tulips in bloom along with a pearlware glaze.
The central transfer is of a man wishing well a teacher and his attentive students.
Emplo time well if thou meanest to gain leisure. One to day is worth two to morrows. ~ Since thou art not sure of a minute, throw not away an hour.
Great Condition, stilt mark to the outer rim.
Plates like these were given as gifts to children on special occasions and were used as educational tools, as well.
