Vintage Robert golden faceted glass earrings with large central creamy baroque glass pearls and sparkling rhinestones are hand wired to gilded brass filigree from the 1950's and are in excellent vintage condition appearing to have been seldom if ever worn.

These beautiful earrings have lots of sparkle, textural interest and layers packed into their ample 1.2 inches by 1.2 inches of size, not to mention a 1/2 inch of height! Be sure to use the scan able feature to get a feel for their dimensions by looking at at them in full screen view. Around the central large baroque silvery glass pearl there are three faceted honey gold faceted glass elements and then three prong set clear white rhinestones surrounded by gilded brass. Each properly functioning clip back is signed, Robért, and each still retains their original 'cumfee' ear pad. Very nice size and in excellent condition too; they will work so well with so many of your today's fashion. These display only desirable very light age appropriate mellowing and wear to the finish, nothing in my opinion that detracts from their stunning appeal only that, that affirms pieces age and authenticity. Special vintage handcrafted designer earrings that will be an especially nice find for your wardrobe accessories treasure chest!

Robert and Original by Robert were trademarks of the Fashioncraft Jewelry Co. of New York from 1942 to 1979. The company was founded by Robert Levey, David Jaffe, Irving Landsman and Larry Joseph later joined the group. The trademark changed to Robert Originals Inc. in 1960. Their jewelry used excellent design, workmanship and materials, commanded high prices and supplied jewelry to the motion picture industry. Robert Levey the head designer was as colorful and imaginative a person as he was a designer ( he is sometimes referred to in reference books as a disciple of Miriam Haskell though there is no direct link between the two ); he retired in 1975, but the company continued, soon changing its trademarks. Their older jewelry is always on our hunt list and highly collectable! (L8356)
