Vintage Miriam Haskell large rose rhinestone throat-ed earrings haloed by rhinestone rose montee dew drops are in excellent original vintage condition ready for wear.
Simply magnificent describes these early signed Miriam Haskell beauties best; they have early french clip back signed Miriam Haskell on the base pad of the earrings, with very lacy filigree 'mounts'. They measure a large 1 1/8 inches in diameter and are a whopping 3/4 inch proud! A 'ton' of tiny rhinestone rose montee surround each rose blossom and the Russian gold plating on these earrings is in very good condition; everything appears original, no missing components and no corrosion. When examined closely these display only light desirable age appropriate light mellowing and light wear to the finish, nothing in my opinion which detracts from their stunning appeal (some might consider small signs of vintage use undesirable), I revel in a find like this as proof that affirms the age and authenticity of the pieces, they will receive a gentle professional hand cleaning, if needed, but no attempt will be made to cover up their vintage previous 50 plus beautiful years of life. Your questions about a specific item for sale in my shop are always welcome. These classic and striking stand-alone Haskell additions to any collection are the perfect accessory for so many occasions, seasons, events and ensembles, not to mention pure WOW wearable ART! Miriam Haskell Jewelry is beautiful, classic, stylish and distinctive; one of the most recognizable designer styles though out the decades since the 1920's. These are just a few of the reasons her jewelry has retained and continues to increase in value; as well as, remained so collectible. The great designers that followed Frank Hess; Robert Clark, Peter Raines, Larry Vrba, Millie Petronzio and Robert Lee Morris though out the years have managed to carry on the classic style first developed by Frank Hess with Ms. Haskell, while adding their own subtle and not so subtle touches and flare. If it is not obvious, we are fans!
