Vintage Miriam Haskell long pendant drop earrings with her famous green speckled art glass and Russian gilded brass elements are being offered for your consideration. These 2 1/4 inch beauties are in excellent vintage condition and just waiting to grace your accessories wardrobe collection as only a Haskell can!
Miriam Haskell Jewelry is beautiful, classic, stylish and distinctive; one of the most recognizable designer styles though out the decades since the 1920's. These are just a few of the reasons her jewelry has retained and continues to increase in value; as well as, remained so collectible. Great designers; Robert Clark, Peter Raines, Larry Vrba, Millie Petronzio and Robert Lee Morris though out those years have managed to carry on the classic style first developed by Frank Hess with Ms. Haskell, while adding their own subtle and not so subtle touches and flare. If it is not obvious, we are fans!
These have the handcrafted speckled art glass elements that were/are some of her most popular and it is easy to see why, their varied green coloring makes them an easy wardrobe match with so many outfits! Of course coupling the art glass with her gilded brass was a natural and a beautiful choice too, these beauties measures a long 2 1/4 inches and these have the patented ‘oh so comfy' adjustable tension clip backs; so there is no worry with them being too tight, too loose or uncomfortable. You can adjust them easily and quickly to the perfect fit! They are signed, HASKELL, on the clip backs, MIRIAM HASKELL, on the base pads and Pat. 3176475 on the adjustable screw pad for the patent awarded to N.J. Saccoccio on Apr. 6, 1965. The gilding is beginning to claim its share of mellowing, so looked for and coveted by collectors, no corrosion (or greenies are to be found here) and the mechanisms perform properly. These are a wonderful standalone accessory and will definitely make a STATEMENT for any occasion, season, event or with any ensemble with which you choose to pair with them! (K9351)
