Vintage Miriam Haskell turquoise art glass drop necklace with gilded brass elements and chain from the 1930's to early 1940's is in excellent vintage condition.

This beautiful necklace retains its original tab-less spring ring and is a very wearable 17 inches long. Ms. Haskell didn't sign her jewelry at the time it was created the 1930's to early 1940's; in fact Ms. Haskell did not sign Jewelry until 1947, some say as late as 1948. It has all the classic Haskell components and construction and like her early pieces it is unsigned; as it should be. This displays desirable age appropriate mellowing with light wear to the finish, nothing in my opinion which detracts from its stunning appeal (some might consider small signs of vintage use undesirable), I revel in a find like this as proof that affirms the age and authenticity of the piece or pieces, they will receive a gentle professional hand cleaning, if needed, but no attempt will be made to cover up their vintage previous 80 beautiful years of life. Your questions about a specific item for sale in my shop are always welcome. A gorgeous, classic and strikingly stand-alone Haskell addition to any collection; the perfect accessory for so many occasions, seasons, events and ensembles not to mention it is pure WOW wearable art!

Miriam Haskell Jewelry is beautiful, classic, stylish and distinctive; one of the most recognizable designer styles though out the decades since the 1920's. These are just a few of the reasons her jewelry has retained and continues to increase in value; as well as, remained so collectible. The great designers that followed Frank Hess; Robert Clark, Peter Raines, Larry Vrba, Millie Petronzio and Robert Lee Morris though out the years have managed to carry on the classic style first developed by Frank Hess with Ms. Haskell, while adding their own subtle and not so subtle touches and flare. If it is not obvious, we are fans! (K3685)
