This Miriam Haskell necklace from their famous 1970's head designer, Larry Vrba is enhanced with Lapis and turquoise stones, as well as, glass and gilded elements. This beauty is in excellent vintage condition and is being offered for your consideration!
Miriam Haskell Jewelry is beautiful, classic, stylish and distinctive; one of the most recognizable designer styles though out the decades since the 1920's. These are just a few of the reasons her jewelry has retained and continues to increase in value; as well as, remained so collectible. Great designers; Robert Clark, Peter Raines, Larry Vrba, Millie Petronzio and Robert Lee Morris though out those years have managed to carry on the classic style first developed by Frank Hess with Ms. Haskell, while adding their own subtle and not so subtle touches and flare. If it is not obvious, we are fans!
This wonderful necklace is anchored in the center by a large oval chunky artisan element bearing all the colors of the necklace and measuring 3/4 of an inch long. The carnelian spacers appear to be glass, the lapis and the turquoise are genuine stone and there are the other accenting elements as if captured from the antiquities of gilded brass and glass; all of the colors are in keeping with Larry Vrba's theme for his famous Egyptian series. The construction and components used for production of this necklace are consistent for the Vrba / Haskell's 1970's time period including the hang tag and it bears a properly functioning push pull style clasp signed, Miriam Haskell and Patent 3427891, as well as, her mirror image, Miriam Haskell signed hang tag. The necklace measures 16 inches long; it displays only desirable age appropriate mellowing and light wear to the finish nothing that detracts from it stunning appeal only that that affirms its age and authenticity. A timeless addition to your accessories wardrobe which will add a striking stand-alone statement with lasting appeal! Enjoy! (J9740)
