Vintage Miriam Haskell exotic diagonally cut layered / stacked real wood slice earrings are being offered for your consideration. Both are beautiful and dramatic and if history bears true these would have been a favorite of Ms. Haskell herself, as it is said her favorites, were pieces from the natural elements; shell, coral, stone, wood etc.; these are in excellent vintage condition.
Miriam Haskell Jewelry is beautiful, classic, stylish and distinctive; one of the most recognizable designer styles though out the decades since the 1920's. These are just a few of the reasons her jewelry has retained and continues to increase in value; as well as, remained so collectible. Great designers; Robert Clark, Peter Raines, Larry Vrba, Millie Petronzio and Robert Lee Morris though out those years have managed to carry on the classic style first developed by Frank Hess with Ms. Haskell, while adding their own subtle and not so subtle touches and flare. If it is not obvious, we are fans!
These oval slices of diagonally cut laminated thin strips of highly finished dark and blonde smooth wood form the base of these earrings and have been finished to a very smooth semi-gloss finish; the slices are a large 1 1/8 inches long by 7/8 inch wide and 3/16 inch thick; so they are quite showy. Each earring is signed, MIRIAM HASKELL, on the earring pad, HASKELL on the back of the earring’s clip backs and with PAT. 3176457 on the tension pad; with these patented ‘oh so comfy' adjustable tension clip backs there is no worry with being too tight, too loose or uncomfortable; as you can adjust them easily and quickly to the perfect fit! Wonderful all year round sporty and business classy earrings for your accessories wardrobe collection to go with many styles and outfits in your collection, both vintage and today! (J2075)
