Limoges, France porcelain tea pot trivet or tea tile depicting an outstanding blue and white windmill scene by Tressemann & Vogt is being offered for your consideration. This beautiful example of Tressemann & Vogt's porcelain workmanship is of a hand-painted windmill scene on blue on white porcelain; the tile has the rolled up lip around the outside edge to keep the tea pot in place and sets on glazed porcelain half-ball feet. It measures slightly over 6 3/4 inches and is signed T. V., Limoges and France ( Gaston's mark #7 ), indicating it was produced between 1892 and 1907. The bottom of the trivet is unglazed to promote heat dissipation, while the three half ball feet are glazed to prevent marring the surface on which it is set . A wonderful addition to any Limoges, tea pot or tea service collection for display or use in YOUR service or collection! (200)
