Victorian - Edwardian Era ornate gilded brass collar pin or draping chains brooch c.1900 is being offered for your consideration. The brooch is in wonderful condition and was most likely a collar brooch, meant to adorn a neckline or attach a ladies collar; today it makes a stunning lapel brooch, tie tack or scarf pin. It measures 1 3/4 by 1 3/8 inches ( including chains ) and displays minor age appropriate wear to the finish. The pin back is the typical pinned roll Victorian design, pin is straight and the locking "C" clasp functions properly. The dangling chains have two different link styles; a flat polished circular link and a twisted textured oval link and appear to be gold filled. A classic and striking stand-alone addition to any collection; the perfect accessory for so many occasions, seasons, events and ensembles! (1133b)
