You cannot believe what a find this is! This set is almost complete as far as I can determine. It is called Baby Sister Paper Doll by Queen Holden, 1929 Whitman Publishing Co., Racine, Wis., No 920. Rather hard to find in such good condition, The set is 86 years old!
The cover says it has 60 pieces and I think it is pretty close, counting clothing and accessories. There is also lots of toy pieces and furniture that has slots to place the baby in. The set looks pretty complete. It is also in very good condition for its age. The clothing is nicely cut and the furniture looks good too. I think there is a tear or two that was mended long ago, but really all seems in good condition.
The big doll measures almost 9" and the little one is about 4 1/4" sitting. The small baby has a slight tear on the arm and the large one has slight bends and some missing backing, but they are sturdy and could be displayed well or even played with.
I personally like cut paper dolls because I can try on the clothing and fit the baby in the furniture. Such a good find! Ask questions if you have them. I have a few more picture, too.
