This is a cute little board game game from the 1940's. It is based on the the story of the little red hen who tried hard to get the farm animals to help with her work, but the animals always said, "Not I." The board is quite colorful and in good condition. It measures about 24" by 14". It folds in the middle and has a black binding. The game has the spinner and two pieces in the original cardboard holder. The game is by Milton Bradley and made in the USA. The box does has all sides, some of which has been taped together. It could be mended and be whole and substantial again. The instructions for playing are on the reverse side of the lid. The copyright date is 1948.
The talking part of the game is a retelling of the story, "Who will help........?" Say the animals, "Not, I."
