Presented are 2 original sepia photographs of the Panama Canal, June, 19, 1914 and August 28, 1915. The photos measure 7 1/4" by 8 15/16". The label at the bottom of the first says: Operation of Miraflores Locks. SS Santa Clara leaving Upper west chamber under tow of electric locomotives. Looking North.
The other photo is labeled: 30X46--Miraflores Locks. General view from top of floating crane "Hercules" looking North. Miralflores Lake and Pedro Miguel Locks in distance.
Condition is very good. Small tear at top on photo 1; a piece missing at top of photo 2.
